Vintage Thrift Store Finds – Part One

By Sara IN AZ

I hope you all enjoyed the vintage “sights” from the thrift stores that I posted last week, this week we get to see what I actually brought home! Even though I left a bunch of cool stuff behind, I still found plenty to buy…so much so that I broke up my “finds” posts into 2 parts as well…so be sure to come back on Thursday to see the rest of my finds!

My Mom, who is  the cool glass finder extraordinaire pulled this glass out of the racks for me…she knew I’d love it, and I do! The glass is made by Digware and honestly, I don’t know how ‘vintage’ this glass really is – but I adore it anyway. Apparently Digware had a set of 4 galaxy glasses for sale sometime in the past, we only found this one glass that day. This one is marked ‘Superstellar Satellite’ on the other side.

I found this cool old Garnier liquor decanter at one thrift store. I believe this decanter is called ‘South Seas’. My decanter is missing the little plastic palm tree cork stopper on the top.

I found 3 berry bowls, 2 larger size serving bowls and a small tray in the Blue Heaven pattern all for $9.99!

I picked up these cute little Asian chalk figurines, even though the girl has a little chip I think I can touch her up nicely!

I couldn’t resist buying this HUGE vintage 60s/70s pinch pleat curtain panel!

I also picked up this sweet little Frosty the Snowman music box. he was marked ‘Made In Japan’.

And, I saved the best for last…….I found this vintage Pyrex black Musical Staff Space Saver dish for $4.99. I was kind of shocked to see it just sitting there all by it’s lonesome way down on the bottom shelf…..I couldn’t snatch it up fast enough!

Come back Thursday to see the rest of my thrifting finds!

Just saw this post today, but there is a complete decanter on ebay right now and one with the cork but not complete fronds. Good luck!
