January 29, 2017Won’t You Be My Neighbor – West Allis, Wisconsin
Hello again folks! It’s another Sunday Funday and today we have an awesome time capsule home brought to us by reader Kate W. The reader submissions have really been knocking it out of the park! This home was built in 1970 and the owners have done a lovely job restoring it with very few updates. The price is also quite reasonable for such a well kept home. Let’s take a look!
This home is located at 12213 W Harrison Place, West Allis, Wisconsin on a lovely lot with mature trees. It is a 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath, 2,124 square feet home built in 1970 that is being offered at $249,900. The listing is courtesy of Jim Schleif at Shorewest Realtors. For more information and additional photos you can check out the listing here. From the listing:

(The ceiling is just gorgeous! And I love all the windows!)
(The divider is super cool, and love the light fixture and furniture!)
KITCHEN & DINING ROOM
(Nice big eat-in kitchen with cabinets in good shape and awesome light fixtures!)
(Seriously y’all, this family room is AMAZING. I’d be in there all the time!)
(This is a huge master bedroom! Gorgeous beams, doors and window frame!)
(We have similar tan square tile in our bathroom- wish we had that patterned floor! Wow!)
(Now that is an organized clean utility room with great storage. Jealous!)
I’d take this one in a heartbeat if it wasn’t so cold in Wisconsin! What did y’all think? The winters would probably make me really appreciate having carpet. The only things I’d switch out would be the kitchen countertops/flooring and the front door. How cool would a mod door painted a bright color look?
